Steven J. Greco PhD
Chief Science Officer, Okyanos Global Health
With nearly two decades of work in stem cell biology, regenerative and translational medicine, Dr. Greco serves as Chief Science Officer for Okyanos Global Health. Author on more than 55 research publications, Dr. Greco directs translational research at Okyanos Innovation Center, coordinating with Okyanos Therapeutics companies including Advanced Regen Medical Technologies. He received both his PhD in stem cell biology and MS in biomedical sciences from Rutgers University and his BA from Cornell University.
Khady Guiro, PhD
Lead Scientist, Okyanos Innovation Center
Dr. Guiro brings a diverse background in biomedical engineering and regenerative medicine to her position as Lead Scientist for the Okyanos Innovation Centers. Her current research is in age-related diseases and hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs), where she has been lead scientists on ARMT’s first in man treatment for anti-aging. Dr. Guiro holds a patent on a 3D in vitro model for breast cancer dormancy. Dr. Guiro received her PhD in Biomedical Engineering and Biomedical Sciences from New Jersey Institute of Technology and Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
Lead Scientist, Consultant, Okyanos Innovation Center
Mr. Kiedrowski provides services as manager at Innovation Centers, directing the build out and operations at the Okyanos Innovation Center sites. Mr. Kiedrowski is an 18 year veteran directing lab operations for world class cardiovascular, regenerative medicine, metabolic, in vitro and in vivo translational science. As Laboratory Director for Penn Labs at Skirball Institute in Ohio, he has overseen internal and contract projects in gene therapy and cardiovascular. Mr. Kiedrowski brings expertise in protocol design, bench work, technology evaluation, and business operations.
Mike Winegar, MS
Regulatory Consultant, Okyanos Innovation Center
Mike Winegar oversees medical device regulator affairs and compliance for Tissue Genesis. He is a highly sought after consultant for his extensive knowledge in the areas of medical devices, clinical research and regulatory affairs. Mr. Winegar brings three decades of global experience with device and biotech companies in neuro, cardio, vascular and regenerative medical technologies. Mr. Winegar directs the Regulatory Science program for the University of St. Thomas, in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Rolf Wolters, PhD
Lead Engineer, Okyanos Innovation Center
Dr. Wolters oversees engineering at the Okyanos Innovation Centers, including directing Product Development at Tissue Genesis. He is the Principal Investigator for the DOD phase II SBIR for advanced cell isolation technology. Previously, Dr. Wolters was the Director for Life Sciences at Trelleborg AB Sweden, a polymer engineering company; VP of Product Management at STI Medical Systems and a Senior Engineer at Intel Corporation. He has a PhD and MS in Chemistry from UCLA and a BS from the University of Illinois.
GMP/Gene Therapy Consultant, Okyanos Innovation Center
An experienced CMC professional Mr. D’Andrea provides strategic guidance in process development and product manufacturing for biotherapeutic and pharmaceutical drug products. He is an expert in cGMP strain, cell culture and fermentation, and cGMP manufacturing. Mr. D’Andrea has held executive positions at Vitagen Inc., Selective Genetics and the Institute of Molecular Biology. Mr. D’Andrea, received his AB in Biology from Dartmouth and his Master’s in Biochemistry from Rutgers University.
